Skin: Remy Lite (RL) is the lightest weight leather used for the manufacture of leather garments. Made of English domestic lambskins, Remy Lite is a suede product with a light resin finish. In time, as the resin wears down, the nap of the suede will buff up; however, the color and visual character of the skin will not change. The fine hand and luster of the Remy Lite skin is the ultimate handwork of the tanner’s skills.
Pebble Nubuck (PN): A superior nubuck, unlike suede, which is finished on the underside of the skin, these calfskins are buffed on the grain side creating a nap while leaving some grain highlights.
Remy leather jackets are all lovingly hand crafted in their facility in California. Dollar for dollar, they are truly the finest leathers on the market and equal to any Italian or Spanish import selling for a great deal more dollars.
